This year’s March for Babies was another big event. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hello! Also thanks to all of the March of Dimes volunteers who helped out.
And thanks to Amy Grey of Radio 104.1 WMRQ, who stopped by to challenge us to a Mario Kart race!
The Gamers Box is once again supporting the March of Dimes and their March for Babies. We will be at Walnut Hill Park in New Britain on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. On Sunday we will be at Rentschler Field in East Hartford from 9am to 1pm. Stop by and say hello!

The first video game system I bought was the amazing (at the time) Atari 5200. I just found one of the control pad overlays for the game STAR RAIDERS. Anyone else remember this?

These controllers had tiny “fire” buttons that wore out quickly. Kind of a bummer because afterwards the only game I could play that didn’t use the fire buttons was Pac Man.
Still, the system will always hold a place in my gamers heart.

It was two beautiful days on Saturday and Sunday of last week as we helped support the March of Dimes Walk for Babies.
